Dhaka Global Dialogue 2019, A Regional Discussion for Development

The Dhaka Global Dialogue 2019 was jointly organized by the Bangladesh Institute of International and Strategic Studies (BIISS), Bangladesh and the Observer Research Foundation (ORF), India. The Dialogue took place at Hotel InterContinental, Dhaka, Bangladesh from 11 to 13 November 2019. H E Sheikh Hasina, the Honorable Prime Minister, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh was the Chief Guest of the event.

Honorable Foreign Minister addressed the inaugural session of the three-day ‘Dhaka Global Dialogue 2019’, while ORF President Samir Saran and BIISS Director General AKM Abdur Rahman also spoke on the occasion. Besides, senior officials of Bangladesh government, former ambassadors, leading businessmen, media, academia, researchers and students from various universities of Bangladesh had taken part in the dialogue.

The two-and-half-day dialogue is a platform designed to discuss and debate the most pressing global sustainable development imperatives. It brought together diverse voices across sectors and geographies and proposed new solutions that cater to an emerging human-centric world. Spellbound Leo Burnett designed, decorated and implemented the event as the event organizer. This was yet another footmark of Spellbound Leo Burnett, as we continue working in collaboration with the national and international organizations focusing economic and social development, in other words, for development of humankind.
