Celebrating #studentpreneurship with EO GSEA

Creating Platform for student entrepreneurship including business evaluation, mentoring, financing & networking, Spellbound in collaboration with EO Bangladesh bonds with talented young entrepreneurs.

Naziba Naila Wafa, student of BRAC university wins EO GSEA National 2018 with her business “Resurgence” which expertise in production of Sanitary Napkins for women from Water Hyacinths. Naziba and her co-founders includes the slum dweller women in the business process and sells the pads in cheapest rate to help the slum dwellers maintain menstrual hygiene.

The runner up, Md Jahangir Alam, Dhaka University IBA student built his business “Inspire” solely revolving around the lives of Slum people. Inspire produces fertilizers from household waste supplied by the very slum dwellers. As a CSR activity integrated in the business, the children of the slums gets financing for education.

Like these outstanding stories of humanitarian enterprises initiated by the youth of Bangladesh have been discovered in the stages of EO GSEA Semi-Finals & Finals. “Global Student Entrepreneurship Awards” is an international award program by Entrepreneurs’ Organization focusing on cultivation and facilitation of young and talented entrepreneurs who are continuing their studies as well.

The winner of national final, Naziba Naila Wafa, is going to attend the global final on April 2019 at Macau, China where she will get the opportunity to compete with 50 finalists from 50 countries.
